VIZIO rolled out the S4251w, its first 5.1-channel soundbar set to complement your 42-inch telly. The bar features a combination of 2.5-inch and 3-inch drivers, and streams audio to the 6-inch sub-woofer over Bluetooth. The company isn't asking much.
Blackmagic Design announced its Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera at NAB 2013. The pocket sized digital cinema camera sports a Super 16mm sized 1080HD sensor capable of capturing 13 stops of dynamic range. It also has an active Micro Four Thirds lens mount and costs $995.
Drawing crowds at the NAB 2013 is Vision Systems' newest high-resolution cinema camera, the Phantom Flex4K, which can capture 3840 x 2160-pixel video at a staggering 1,000 frames per second, in 5-second bursts, that make for some stunning slow-motion footage.
Sony announced pricing and availability information for its much talked about 55-inch and 65-inch ultra-HD TVs, featuring native resolutions of 3840 x 2160, and Triluminous technology. The two feature prices lower, and availability sooner, than expected.
