Germany Gets Rid Of Verizon Contract Due To NSA Concerns

Germany has been vocal about its disdain for some of the NSA's spy programs. and now the country is dropping its contract with Verizon because of concerns about the NSA. The Ministry of the Interior's contract with the internet service provider will close in 2015, and it won't be renewed because, in some situations, Verizon hands data over to the NSA.

Given that the German government's data is very important, it makes sense to get rid of a contract with a company that, at any time, may hand over sensitive information.
