Several Sony Xperia Z owners have reported that their devices are suffering from sudden death. The problem seems to be entirely random, without any particular method of why this is happening. Apparently Sony's flagship smartphone has been shutting down, forcing users to hard reset their handsets.
Although a hard reset has worked for some people, most that have experienced the problem has been unable to fix their Xperia Z smartphone. Sony confirmed the issue and promised a fix in the Xperia Z's next software update.
Sony released the update for the Xperia Z smartphone which fixes the sudden death issue. Its build number is 10.1.A.1.434, while the Android version and Kernel stays the same.
