Samsung is reportedly working on not one, but four variants of the Galaxy S4 Mini, a 4.3-inch downscale of the original, launched earlier this month. Model numbers of all four were posted on the company website, which could hint at how Samsung plans to carve them out. Among the four are the GT-I9190, which could be the standard variant pictured late last week; the GT-I9192, a possible dual-SIM variant; the GT-I9195, single-SIM with 4G LTE cellular broadband support; and GT-I9198, a variant customized for China Mobile, to comply with local regulations.
The Galaxy S4 Mini is designed to retain the various innovations Samsung made on the software-side of the Galaxy S4 equation; which scaling down on the hardware front. It features a more compact 4.3-inch screen with a possible 960 x 540 pixels resolution (half that of the Galaxy S 4), a dual-core SoC clocked at 1.60 GHz, etc.
