Robots are invading Foxconn's production facilities soon. The mass producer of Smartphones and other consumer electronics, also one of the three companies to have been contracted to produce the Apple iPhone 6, is hiring 10,000 robots to aid in the production of the same.
Each robot reportedly costs around $20,000-$25,000, so if my math is not bad that adds up to nearly $200-$250 million in expenses. In addition to that, Foxconn is reportedly hiring 100,000 new employees to help with the iPhone 6 production. Crazy, no?
