Sony today announced their first selfie-focused Smartphone. The Xperia C3 comes with a 5 MP wide-angle front camera that allows for an 80-degree field of view. Other than that, the device is pretty close to the Xperia T3. There's a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) Triluminos display, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, micro SD card slot, 4G LTE support and a 2,500 mAh battery.
Bearing a design that is similar to that of the Xperia T3, the new Xperia C3 has an 8 MP Exmor RS rear camera and optional dual-SIM connectivity. It's pretty sleek - just 7.6mm - and weighs just 150 grams.
Wait, did I mention that part where Sony added an LED flash beside the front-facing camera? Let's hope that it doesn't blind anyone while they are taking a selfie, that's all.
The Xperia C3 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and will be available in Black, White and Mint color schemes starting August 2014.
