Galaxy S4 UI and Benchmarks: "It Crushes Every Other Device"

The S4 runs the new TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 that brings many new widgets. Due to that, the user interface is now more useful, but it's as easy as the previous Nature UX was. Users who are planning to update the firmware, for sure will feel familiar with the new launcher. The top bar is also modified. The icons are displayed in five columns.

The TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 is more of an evolution than a revolution but that does not mean you are getting entirely the same thing as you got last year with the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.

The South-Korean producer completely rebuilt the Camera interface. Actually, the app has been taken from the Galaxy Camera. Samsung brought it and added many new features like Sound & Shot, Dual Camera, Drama Shot or Story Album. Very intuitive camera interface has big chances to become the best camera menu in the whole Galaxy family.

Samsung basically changed the Settings screen. The company resigned from the standard Android lists and added tabs. The developer has split device's setting into the four different tabs: Connections, My Device, Accounts, More.

Let's say a few words about the Easy Mode, which is a special mode of TouchWiz bringing the classic user interface. People who just want to use the basic features of Galaxy S4 will like it. The Easy Mode first appeared on Jelly Bean update but didn't work as well as it's doing it now.

The Sammobile crew has tested the S4 in two different benchmarks: Antutu and Quadrant. The device earned 12726 points on Quadrant and 27417 on Antutu and has beaten every other device, including Sony Xperia Z.
