HTC Desire P Goes On Sale In Taiwan

While HTC struggles to launch its HTC One, two new mid-range smartphones are on the way. Last week, we had a chance to see initial details about the HTC Desire P and Desire Q. Today, the company officially launched the HTC Desire P smartphone for those who live in Taiwan.

The smartphone features a 4.3-inch display with WVGA resolution. Inside the plastic case, we can find Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 Play chipset with a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 203 graphics and 768 MB of RAM.

The rest of the specifications includes an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and WVGA video recording, 4 GB of storage expandable via microSD slot. It also comes with Beats Audio technology, but it is unknown which Android version the phone is using. Previous leaks suggest 4.1 Jelly Bean while there are some indications about the 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Desire P will be available soon exclusively via Chungwa Telecom in Taiwan at a price of about $365.
