Mobile Google Maps Available In 9 New Countries

The Google Maps team has announced today at its Google+ page the addition of voice guidance for 9 new countries. The latest update is intended for Android devices and is available to use as of this moment. The only requirement to use this feature is to have a smartphone that is powered by Android 2.2 or newer operating system. Users in the below countries will be able to use the new feature:

  • Ghana
  • Kenya
  • Cote d'Ivoire
  • Senegal
  • Estonia
  • Bulgaria
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Slovakia

Unfortunately, there is no information on when we can expect new countries with the addition of voice navigation.
