YouTube's Android App Now Supports 1440p Playback

Love watching YouTube videos on your new flagship Android Smartphone, or have a fancy high-end tablet? Until now, the highest playback resolution offered was 1080p. However, Google has updated the official YouTube app for Android and added support for 1440p resolution.

Meaning, you can now watch YouTube videos running at full resolution on your fancy new LG G3 or Oppo Find 7. And if you happen to own either of these devices, I envy you a lot. Now go away.
