FarmVille developer Zynga has posted a net loss of $63 million in its financial results for the second quarter of 2014.
The company has projected a net loss between $52 and $57 million for the year's third quarter.
The company also announced its intentions to enter the sports genre. Zynga is signing a multi-year licensing deal with NFL Players Inc. and the National Football League.
Zynga has also signed an exclusive multi-year, multi-platform partnership with Tiger Woods, which will allow the company to develop "breakthrough mobile games that bring the world of Tiger Woods golf to life." The first game of this series will launch next year.
