ASUS Starts Shipping Its 7-inch MeMO Pad Tablet

Back at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013, ASUS unveiled MeMo Pad Android tablet. The 7-inch device is the company's solution to match Google Nexus 7. As it was expected, its specifications cannot match those of the Google Nexus 7, but in terms of price the MeMo Pad is $50 cheaper.

ASUS' newest tablet is now available for purchase. As it was promised back in January, the company announced that it has begun shipping the 7-inch tablet to retail channels. The Android powered tablet is available now in four colors black, grey, pink and white.

ASUS MeMo Pad features a VIA WM8950 dual-core chip clocked at 1.0 GHz, Mali-400 graphics, 16GB of storage, and has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels that supports 10-point multi-touch. There is also a microSD slot for additional storage and a 4270 mAh battery providing up to seven hours of use.
