Amazon is launching a mobile app testing service called "Live App Testing". This tool allows developers building apps for the Amazon Appstore to distribute their apps to testers before launch.
To use Live App Testing, developers invite testers to try out their app and then send them download instructions. The testers then use their device to try the app.
Amazon Fire and Android-based devices are supported by the service.
The service provides analytical details about the tests. For example, it can inform the developer how many times the app crashed during usage.
Live App Testing is just one among the many developer tools Amazon has been rolling out in recent months.
