During IDF 2013 in Beijing, Toshiba revealed its latest convertible Ultrabook. Named Portege Z10t, the device can be used as a tablet or as an Ultrabook when it is attached to a keyboard dock. This 10-inch detachable Ultrabook is a first hybrid device from Toshiba.
Toshiba Portege Z10t features an unusually large hinge sleeve that keeps the tablet attached. It utilizes Ivy Bridge processor with vPro embedded security options, but no data was provided on SKU. Moving on, there is 2 GB of RAM, SSD with unknown capacity.
In terms of connectivity, the 10-inch tablet comes with a USB 3.0 port, micro-HDMI and a full-size SD card slot, all located on the right side. On the opposite side, there is a headphone jack, power socket, and power and volume buttons.
The reps from Toshiba said that the sale should start during the second quarter of 2013, but did not provide information on the price.
