Microsoft Optimizes OneNote For Android, Windows

Microsoft has launched an optimized version of OneNote for Android tablets, and updated its OneNote for Windows with a variety of new features.

OneNote for Android tablets includes what Microsoft describes as "handwriting support", as well as interface modifications allowing for a better ft on larger screens, and additional formatting options.

In regards to the Windows version, Microsoft has introduced printing support and highlighting. On OneNote's Metro build, PDFs can now also be inserted into notes.

This recent effort on Android on Microsoft's part seems to be an introduction to its Office for Android tablets, which sports a touch-focused build.
