Some of the first Firefox OS handsets, originally made by Geeksphone, began rolling out to developers. The super-compact Geeksphone Keon developer edition is priced at $119, while the slightly bigger Geeksphone Peak, is priced at $194. The Keon, pictured above in its fiery orange avatar, features a 3.5-inch screen, basic imaging, and a single-core processor, making for an ideal entry-level smartphone reference point, for Firefox OS. If your apps run smoothly on this phone, they should run on any Firefox OS. The Peak, on the other hand, features a 4.3-inch qHD screen, 8+2 megapixel imaging, a dual-core processor, to make up a mid-range feature-set. Both phones are available through Geeksphone's website.
