Batteries are one of the worst aspects of the mobile devices and manufacturers are trying everything to improve it. While devices are getting smaller, there is not a lot of room for a bigger battery. However, Samsung is working on a new display that should save some space and leave more room for the battery.
The first plastic OLED display could appear in the upcoming Galaxy Note III phablet. Not only it saves space, the plastic OLED display will also be unbreakable. While we heard a lot about unbreakable screen during the years, Samsung is allegedly very confident about it. The phone is rumoured to feature a 5.99-inch display.
According to SamMobile, the company will introduce the Galaxy Note III at IFA 2013 while the device will be available from the fourth quarter of the year.
