Known more for its HiFi, home theater, and bookshelf speakers, KEF is testing waters with headphones. The company introduced the M-Series of premium headphones, which includes the M200 in-ear monitors, and the M500 on-ear headphones. Both feature lavish amounts of matte aluminum and contrasting black leatherette.
The M500 features full-range 40 mm drivers, one per can. The M200, on the other hand, features what KEF refers to as DDD (dual-dynamic drivers), a combination of a 10 mm driver for lows, and 5.5 mm driver for mids and highs. The M500 is priced at $299 a pop, while the M200 is yours for $199.
