HTC One Gets Camera Software Update

While we are finally seeing the HTC One in stores, things are also started looking better in other directions. As mentioned before, the poor performance of the camera was not caused by the hardware. Instead, it seems that the problem was in software.

The company has started rolling out the first software update for the HTC One smartphones in Europe. The update 1.29.401.13 brings several improvements and the biggest are the better camera performance and improved general system performance and stability.

According to HTC, the sound capture quality as well as noise reduction in slow motion video capture has been improved. The over-exposure experienced in non-HDR shots has also been improved.

The changelog:

  • System optimizations
  • Audio improvements in HTC Zoe and Beats Audio
  • Bluetooth related fixes
  • Issue fix related to back button
  • Weather related fix (not sure for what)
  • Cellular Network related optimizations
