HTC is reportedly working on a smaller version of its flagship smartphone HTC One. From recent rumours, we already knew that the company's new mid-range smartphone has an aluminum body. In the beginning, the HTC M4 was rumoured to be Facebook First smartphone which proved to be incorrect.
The HTC M4 looks extremely similar to the HTC One but will come with lower specifications and a price tag. Looking at the picture, it is not possible to tell if the company will keep the metal-alloy chassis or could use plastic for the body.
As the HTC One is tremendously popular, and there is a high demand for it, the Mini version of the phone could achieve the same popularity. The 4.3-inch 720p display is powered by a dual-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 1,700 mAh battery. On the side, there is the micro SIM slot while on the back of the handset is the UltraPixel camera.
The phone is expected to have LTE support and run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. We can expect the phone by the end of the second quarter.
