So far, BlackBerry has debuted only two smartphones; one touchscreen and one keyboard phone. To expand it lineup and offer a mid-range device that costs less, the company is working on the R10 smartphone.
The BlackBerry R10 comes with almost the same design as the Q10. Judging from the photos, the handset sports a classic physical keyboard and a non-premium styling, relying on less-costly plastic materials. According to reports, the R10 will run the same BlackBerry 10 operating system so it won't be too much of a step down.
