Nokia began web and print marketing of its upcoming flagship Lumia 928 smartphone, slated for May 14. Ads of the big, broad device were spotted on the current issue of Vanity Fair magazine, and on the company's US website. The ads focus on the phone's superior imaging capabilities, derived from Nokia's PureView IP. One could expect everything from a high-resolution PureView sensor, proprietary OIS (image stabilization), and Carl Zeiss lens, featured on a 4.5-5 inch device running Windows Phone 8. Nokia's current PureView 808 continues to dominate the mobile imaging scene, but its greatest downfall is Nokia's choice of Symbian S60 over Windows Phone.
