Raspberry Pi Camera Module Available In The UK

The Raspberry Pi Foundation camera module went to production in March. The Pi Foundation's Liz Upton said we can expect sales sometime in April, but apparently that was postponed a little bit further. Even though we already have some photos and videos of the camera module, it looks that the UK users will be getting the first camera modules as of today.

It looks as the UK-based electronics retailer CPC/Farnell started taking orders for the unit. Users who made a preorder started getting email from the company to order the unit. The Raspberry Pi Foundation camera module is available on the CPC/Farnell website with a price tag of £19.87 including VAT.
