After Google surprised everyone at I/O 2013 developer conference with the introduction of a special version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone that runs stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, it seems that more stock Android smartphones are coming.
One of them is HTC with its flagship smartphone, which could follow Samsung with the Google Edition handset. HTC One should be identical in terms of hardware, but it will run a vanilla version of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean without Sense user interface. The smartphone is very near its US launch, according to sources. However, this news wasn't confirmed by HTC so take it with a grain of salt.
