Casio Command 4G is the company's first ruggedized 4G LTE-enabled smartphone, and one to carry with you on a long, wet, and messy hike. It was on a stealthy hike of its own to Verizon 4G, when @evleaks netted its press-shot.
Pictured above, this cousin of the G'zOne Commando is military standards compliant, and appears to offer a 4-inch screen a customized Android 4.x software, with a suite of sports/survival tools (think pre-loaded maps to overlay GPS in the absence of data network). The phone itself is cushioned better against drops, can resist water and mud, and could feature a high-capacity battery. The only known hardware spec comes from an older leak, which claims the device is driven by a Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC.
There's still no word on when the Commando 4G will reach Verizon.
