Leica announced its X Vario mirrorless ultra-compact camera. This 35 mm format shooter was teased earlier this week, as the "Mini-M." Under its hood is a 16.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, wrapped in a magnesium alloy body with black leather trim. Outside, its stock 28-70 mm lens in the 35 mm format, with an f/3.5-6.4 aperture takes a seat. The camera is capable of ISO 100-12,500. Video is captured at 1080p, and at 30 fps. A 3-inch 920k dot LCD screen decks up the rear. The X Vario is yours for $2,850.
