iOS Gets XCOM: Enemy Unknown In Three Days

The developers of the latest installment of the popular XCOM series of tactical, role playing strategy games, Firaxis, has announced at their PAX East panel that they will release the game XCOM: Enemy Unknown for iOS in just three days on Thursday of this week.

The game will be a universal app and will feature iCloud and GameCenter support. It will be the same experience as the console and PC versions of the game, but will be optimized for the touch interfaces that the iOS devices utilize.

The game will launch on June 20th for the iPad 2 and up, iPad Mini, iPhone 4S and up and the iPod Touch Gen. 5. There will also be a head-to-head multiplayer mode released in a free update after release.
