ThreeUK, an operator in United Kingdom, tweeted last week that HTC pulled the Android 4.2.2 release, and there is no information for a new schedule if there would be any. Luckily, that turned out to be incorrect as the Android 4.2.2 is on its way to HTC One.
Thanks to Engadget who has contacted HTC, users of HTC One can be relaxed. According to the company, Android 4.2.2 is not canceled, but users will have to wait a little bit longer before it becomes available.
The update should bring Android 4.2 features, which can be seen in the video below, along with certain changes to HTC's Sense 5 user interface. While there are no other details, at least we know it is coming.
