While the most important recent news about Apple is undoubtedly their upcoming iOS 7 operating system, it seems that we have first real photos of the company's new flagship smartphone. The upcoming iPhone 5S has been a very well kept secret for quite some time, but thanks to MacRumors we have new photos of the iPhone 5S.
The first image shows the phone's internals that feature a redesigned logic board. Another good news is the battery, which is a slightly bigger measuring 5.92 Whr compared to 5.45 Whr on the iPhone 5. If combined with a more efficient processor and if iOS 7 would be a battery friendly, the iPhone 5S could provide a longer battery lifespan.
Moving on, the other image shows a new rear shell that looks almost the same as the one on the iPhone 5. The only difference is a dual-LED flash next to the camera lens. It seems that Apple uses the same design material as the rear case shares the same affinity to scratches with the iPhone 5.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 5S later this year along with new lower-priced iPhones that should come in different colors at the same time.
