The next generation wearable electronics are just around the corner. Early this year, Apple was rumoured to release an iWatch product in 2013. Right after that, Samsung and Sony joined the race who will be the first manufacturer to unveil its smartwatch product, and it seems that could be Sony.
Although Sony has already released a smartwatch product in the past, it was not a decent one. Now the company has a chance to redeem itself during the upcoming Mobile Asia Expo in Shangai. The company posted two teasers on its Twitter page with #itstime and #MAE13 hashtag. The first image shows a trio of human analogs with the middle one being highlighted and wearing a watch on its wrist.
The second image shows a render of a Sony-branded smartwatch device with the words 'Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock'. No other details are known, so we'll have to wait for the Mobile Asia Expo 2013 trade show, which runs from June 26 to 28.
