Google Takes Street View To New Heights, Literally

In a first for Google, they have captured a skyscraper on Street view. Not just the skyscraper itself, but views from inside the observation deck and also what it's like to be on one of the buildings maintenance units used for cleaning windows on the eightieth floor.

The building is the Burj Kahalifa in Dubai and is the world's tallest manmade structure, rising to over 2700 feet above the Dubai skyline.

The images were collected over a period of three days using the Street View Trekker and the Trolley, collecting image both inside and outside of the building.

If you have a little vertigo or are afraid of heights you can enjoy this from the comfort and safety of you computer room desk.
