Earlier today, popular photo manipulation and Facebook-owned social networking app Instagram updated its app for the Apple iOS platform, bringing in a host of improvements and new features, and proper video orientation support (an issue which existed since June). While the Landscape mode was supposed to work from day 1, we wonder what took Instagram so long to fix such a tiny issue.
Complete Instagram 4.0.2 for iOS changelog:
- Take photos or record video holding the Instagram camera in landscape orientation.
- Support for Cinema using front-facing cameras.
- Many other improvements and bug fixes.
While the update is small, it has only been released for iOS devices, with no word on the Android app update as of yet.
