HTC One is currently one of the best smartphones at the market, and HTC want to take advantage of that. Therefore, the company is planning a smaller version of its flagship smartphone to satisfy all customers. We already had a chance to see live photos of the One mini, and due to close release date we have another portion of photos.
HTC One mini is expected to feature a 4.3-inch 720p display, a dual-core Snapdragon chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz combined with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. It will also pack a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera, a 1,700mAh removable battery and comes with Beats Audio enhancement, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system that has Sense 5.0 UI. The handset is expected to hit the market in August.
Along with HTC One mini, the company is planning to release a budget smartphone that will share similar design to HTC One, but is said to arrive with low-end specs. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor with 1.0 GHz CPU clock and 512 MB of RAM. It packs a 3.5-inch HVGA display with 480x320 pixels resolution and it has been seen running Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 interface on top of it.
In terms of imaging, there is a 5-megapixel rear camera that has only 4 GB of memory for photos. Luckily, it can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. We can expect the phone to hit the market in following weeks.
