According to the source, HTC plans to introduce a new Android flagship phone for 2013. If true, it should come with a 5-inch 1080p display and an aluminium chassis. 2012 wasn't the best year for HTC, so they are clearly trying hard to make 2013 a little brighter.
The recent financial report says that the company had a rough quarter, so financially speaking this wasn't the best year for HTC. With new Android flagship they will try to take a larger piece of the high end market. With an aluminium unibody chassis, 5-inch display running at 1080p, Qualcomm APQ8064 quad-core processor and 13-megapixel camera, it looks to be a good smartphone on the paper.
Price and other specifications are yet to be unveiled, but we do know it is scheduled for Q1 2013.
