While HTC had earlier declared that the company's only flagship device for 2013 would be the HTC One, a new report, based on a new HTC unit which passed through the FCC and is to Verizon US, reveals that the Taiwanese company will introduce an HTC One refresh soon. The refresh is expected to have updated internals, perhaps a 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 SoC instead of the 1.7 GHz SKU. Additionally, we might see a price drop for the 32 GB and 64 GB models, but nothing's set in stone.
Additionally, the report mentions that a certain HTC One successor, sure to be codenamed the M8 (since the One is codenamed M7) will make an appearance early in 2014. Much like the growing trend, the HTC One 2 , or HTC Two (or whatever their creative team comes up with) might pack the faster Snapdragon 800 chipset and come with a display size between 4.7" (HTC One) and 5" (HTC Butterfly S).
