It's that time of the year, when Steam opens its stores up for a barrage of sales, so you could load up on games to play over the season. Open now, Steam Summer Sale 2013 runs between today and the 22nd of July. Steam is offering games with discounts as heavy as 75%, and for titles as new as Bioshock: Infinite. Steam introduced a sushi carousel system in which the community gets to choose which games go on sale next, and at how deep a discount. Sales for each game typically last a day, so be sure to grab some of the AAA titles before they're gone. There are also flash sales, which last 8 hours, that come with equally heavy, or heavier discounts. I just bagged Bastion at a 50% rebate (down to $7.49). Find more details in the press release below, and the complete version of the comic strip we posted out of context above, here.
Find Steam Summer Sale 2013 here, and in the "Store" tab of your Steam client.
