It looks like both Microsoft's Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are doing well in the preorder realm. This week, the huge online retailer, Amazon.com, announced that they had sold their entire initial allocation of both devices for the day one launch date.
Amazon is still taking orders for the game consoles, but they can no longer guarantee that people who preorder them will receive them on their launch dates. The company is hoping that they will be receiving more launch day inventory so they can get more units to people as soon as possible.
This comes after news we reported that other retailers, such as GameStop, were hitting the wall on units that would be available for customers on day one.
