Garmin, the well-known company that specializes in navigational devices, has released a simple heads-up navigational display system. The unit gets attached to the vehicle's dashboard to display the information, and is portable so it can be transferred to any vehicle.
After being attached to the dashboard, the vehicle projects the information onto a transparent film that is placed on the windshield, or uses an attached reflector lens.
The unit provides information such as turn arrows, distances, speeds and speed limits, and estimations on how long it will be until arrival at the desired destination.
The new unit will sell for $129.99, but will require the download of either the Garmin StretPilot1 or NAVIGON app, which start at $29.99.
