Sony Eases Restrictions On Video Unlimited Service

In a recent change of policy, Sony has eased the restrictions on downloads for its Video Unlimited service. Under the old policy, users could not re-download content, but with the addition of a cloud library users can now re-download across multiple devices.

The new policy as stated on the Video Unlimited website reads, "If you purchase a copy, the video or TV show download will be available infinitely and can be transferred to other enabled devices.", which currently include the PS3, PSP, PS Vita and Windows PC through Media Go.

Movie rentals will now be available for viewing up to 30 days after purchase, and can be viewed multiple times within 24 hours on the same device.
