Locket is an innovative new app for Android which allows users to earn money while doing something that they do countless times everyday. Yes, Locket is a free app on Google Play Store which, upon installing manually, effectively monetizes your phone lockscreen. How about that!
Meet Locket, the app that pays you for unlocking your phone.
Locket is free and pays you just for having ads on your lock screen. With one swipe, you can either open the ad or unlock your phone the way you always do. No matter what, you get paid. Real money. Up to hundreds of dollars per year.
Locket's special lockscreen app replaces your default lockscreen (the app developer recommends you to disable your default lockscreen to avoid any issues). The new lockscreen has a two-way swipe feature. Swiping right unlocks your phone, while swiping left navigates you to the ad. Even if you don't do that, you still get 1 cent for every ad you lay eyes on, with a cap of 3 cents (3 unlocks) per hour. Although the amount is too less to be counted as significant right now ($1 would have been more like it), the developers of the app promise revisions to that figure in the near future. Well, we'll be waiting.
