"Xbox One, which will launch this fall, has already seen impressive pre-order sales as consumers have signed up to be the first to receive the new system."
"In fact, Xbox One pre-orders are trending ahead of Xbox 360 pre-orders during the same time period and have already sold out at most major US retailers."
Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, in a statement to CVG, also said that the early pre-order figure look like both of the consoles, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, were going to see a stronger start than the previous generation.
He also claimed, that while not all, some retailers were seeing pre-orders at twice the level when compared to the last generation at the same time period.
