Samsung Galaxy Note II To Skip Android 4.2.2 For Android 4.3

While a report earlier this week explored the possibility that Samsung will skip the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for their 2012 flagships, the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note II, and directly update them to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean instead, this image confirms that report, at least for the Galaxy Note II.

The Galaxy Note II is a marvellous device, and a very popular and successful one. The successor to the original Note which ushered Smartphones into a new era, of phablets, was loved by all thanks to its beautiful and large display and stylus support. Australian carrier Telstra in their update schedule memo will bring happiness to many Note II owners, as the phablet flagship will, confirmed, get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean instead of getting updated to Android 4.2.2 this late in its cycle.
