Leaving nothing to chance, Motorola has finally sent out invites to their press event in New York City scheduled for August 1. The event will finally reveal the much awaited mid-range specced Motorola Moto X, rumored to be priced cheaper than the Google Nexus 4.
The Motorola Moto X is rumored to pack a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, Adreno 320 GPU, 4.3" or 4.7" HD (1280 x 720) display, 2 GB of RAM, a 10 MP ClearPixel rear camera and of course, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. No word on the battery rating, but knowing Motorola, it should be adequately large.
We can't wait to see a cheaper Nexus 4 class device for say, $200 off-contract. Boy oh boy! August 1... Come soon.
