Google's newest addition to the Nexus family, the second-generation Nexus 7 is now up on pre-order, and is patiently waiting to get unleashed and dominate the sub-$300 tablet market with its quality display, specifications and built. Well, that didn't take too long now did it.
Mind you, pre-orders are open only to the residents of the US. There are two flavors on offer, a 16GB version for $229 and the meatier 32GB version for $269 (seems like a better deal, considering there isn't a micro SD card slot in this Nexus as well). The Nexus 7 (2013) packs a 7" 1920 x 1200 display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 chipset, 2GB of RAM, a 5 MP rear camera and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
