Sony Honami Visits FCC, All Hushed Up Thanks To Confidentiality Letter

Unleash the monster

Sony's Xperia i1 Honami has continued to remain all hushed up thanks to some stringent measures taken by the company. Despite a multitude of leaked images, internal sources claim that they aren't the final product, but mere prototypes. Well, Honami just hit FCC folks. That means a launch in the US is imminent, and should happen soon (could be weeks to months, but our best guess places it somewhere between mid-September to early October).

Check out the leaked confidentiality agreement letters between FCC and Sony.

That's not all. Here's some more:

Sony's Xperia i1 Honami flagship is rumored to pack a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a 5" 1080p Triluminos OptiContrast display and X-Reality engine, a 20 MP rear camera, Sony G Lens, Cybershot camera software, BIONZ image processor, IP55/57 certification, a 3000 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sony's new Xperia UI.
