ASUS announced the MeMO Pad FHD 10, its newest 10-inch class tablet. Available in black, white, and pink body color trims, the tablet features a piano-black front-bezel framing its 10.1-inch screen, and a monolithic curved out back panel that comes in either of the mentioned body color options. The body doesn't bulge out for more than 9.5 mm, and it tips the scales at 580 g.
The 10.1-inch screen features an IPS display panel, and WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution, yielding a pixel density of 226 ppi. In the imaging department, you get a 5-megapixel primary camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing one.
Under the hood, the MeMO Pad FHD 10 gets really interesting. It runs an Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor that features HyperThreading enabling 4 logical CPUs, and 1.60 GHz clock speed. This chip is mated with 2 GB of RAM, and either 16 GB or 32 GB (options) of storage. 5 GB of cloud-based storage for two years is complementary.
The MeMO Pad FHD runs Android 4.2.2 "Jelly Bean" operating system, with a slightly customized UI by ASUS. The tablet is generally available.
