Sony's upcoming Xperia i1, codenamed Honami, is one of the most hotly anticipated flagship Smartphones for the 2H of 2013. Like all other flagships planned for the latter half of the present year (LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Note III, Motorola Moto X, LG Nexus 5?), Honami aims to bring something new, something refreshing to the table, and that is its camera.
Honami is said to pack a big 1/1.5" camera sensor, the module itself capable of capturing 20 megapixel resolution shots. Furthermore, Sony is incorporating its G Lens (used in Cybershot cameras) into this phone, as well as include a BIONZ image processor (used in Sony DSLRs). There's also rumors of a Xenon flash, but that's got a 50/50 chance to be there in the final device as of now.
Sony is expected to take the wraps off of Honami on the 4th of September, right at the beginning of IFA 2013 in Berlin.
