Take A Look Inside NVIDIA Shield: iFixit Teardown

After missing the original target launch by more than a month, NVIDIA has finally started shipping their Shield gaming console as of July 31st. While there are several reviews about the device, none of the sites have disassembled the device and get a look at what's going on inside it.

Thanks to folks over at iFixit, we have a chance to see bare components of NVIDIA's Shield including some unique things like cooling system, Tegra 4 chip and lithium-ion batteries. After they finished their job, the console got a pretty low reparability score due to a complicated interior design which makes repair and reassembly difficult.
