Apple Begins Seeding iOS 7 Beta 5, Final Version Round The Corner

It's been just over a week since Apple released the previous beta (beta 4) of their upcoming iOS 7 mobile operating system and we have a new beta again. Apple has begun seeding the new iOS 7 Beta 5 build to developers. If you're one, head over and download it right away on your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad Mini or the iPad. The update is being made available OTA. We don't know the release notes yet but with beta releases coming this close (reports from last month did highlight that Apple is speeding up their development), a final (iOS 7 Gold Master) release can't be far away. Our hunch is that we'll see iOS 7 hit gold before the end of this month, right in time for the launch of the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and the iPad 5.

Update:

• You can now use an iOS 7 device to set up an Apple TV after restoring or resetting all settings. (iPhone 4 and iPad 2 are not supported.

• Settings icons have been redone.
