Samsung Plans 6.3-inch Galaxy Note III; Galaxy S IV Will Have Its Own Event
Even though the most anticipated smartphone is full of speculations over the internet, according to The Verge's sources we have a confirmed release date. Not long ago Samsung teased us with something big coming on the CES, but it seems that won't be Galaxy S IV.
Flexible screen, 1080p resolution, unbreakable screen and the latest on that list is the release date. True or not, The Verge's sources said a new Galaxy S IV version will be unveiled in May with its own event which means we won't be seeing it at MWC or at CES either.
Besides the Galaxy S IV, more details surfaced on the new Note III phone. Rumor originating from The Korea Times claims that Samsung is working on a Galaxy Note III with whopping 6.3-inch display. With already big Note II, it's unclear how a normal human hand would hold a 6.3-inch phone. Indeed Samsung has no devices between 6 and 7 inches and with Huawei announcing 6.1-inch contender this might come true.
"At some point in the next year, and it could be very late in the year, we might fill in the largest gap in our screen size lineup," said a trusted source.
